WOODLAND PARK, Colo. — Perini & Associates has donated to FaithfulHearts Equine Learning Center, supporting the nonprofit organization's efforts to provide equine-assisted services for veterans, children, individuals with disabilities, first responders and families throughout the Pikes Peak region.

The contribution reflects the Woodland Park-based firm's ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that strengthen local communities and improve quality of life for those facing physical, emotional and developmental challenges.

The donation was presented during a recent visit to the center, where Perini & Associates President and CEO Michael Perini met with Executive Director Stephanie Smith and learned more about FaithfulHearts' programs and impact.

FaithfulHearts Equine Learning Center is a PATH International-certified nonprofit that provides equine-assisted services designed to promote confidence, emotional well-being, communication skills and personal growth. Through its programs, the organization serves veterans, children, individuals with disabilities, first responders and families while also offering leadership development opportunities, educational programs and volunteer experiences.

"As a retired United States Air Force officer, supporting veterans has always been important to me," Perini said. "When I learned more about the work FaithfulHearts is doing, I immediately saw the difference they are making in people's lives. Their programs help individuals build confidence, find hope and develop skills that positively impact them long after they leave the arena."

Perini said he was particularly impressed by the organization's commitment to serving a wide range of community members and by Smith's leadership.

Smith said community partnerships play a critical role in helping FaithfulHearts meet increasing demand for services.
